Description
The HiLook DVR-208U-K1 is an 8-channel hybrid CCTV recorder capable of up to 8MP (“4K Lite”) resolution per channel. It supports all major HD analogue formats (HD‑TVI, AHD, HDCVI, and CVBS) on its 8 BNC inputs and can add up to 4 IP cameras, enabling a mixed analogue/IP system of up to 16 cameras in total.
This makes the hilook 8 channel dvr ideal for upgrading older coax systems to ultra-HD without re-cabling. It uses Hikvision’s advanced H.265 Pro+ compression to greatly reduce storage needs while retaining image quality. Local monitoring is via HDMI (up to 4K30) or VGA (1080p) outputs, and it even supports Audio-over-Coax (AoC) so a camera’s microphone can send audio over the same cable. With smart features like motion analytics, this compact 1U DVR delivers robust 4K surveillance for small businesses, homes or multi-site setups.

H.265+/H.265 Compression: Utilises H.265 Pro+ to reduce bandwidth and storage needs, allowing longer recording time on the same HDD capacity.
HDMI & VGA Outputs: Provides HDMI output up to 4K (3840×2160) @30Hz and VGA up to 1080p, so you can view live or playback on local screens.
Smart Motion Search: Built-in motion detection (with line-crossing and intrusion analytics) and Smart Search playback help you quickly find events.
Remote Monitoring via Apps: Use the free HiLookVision or Hik-Connect apps for P2P cloud access. This enables live viewing, playback and alerts on your smartphone from anywhere.
